Glenwood Springs Music is a Foundation dedicated to “Play it Forward.

It evolved from a simple fund-raiser in 2008 for the Glenwood Springs Percussion Ensemble to a Foundation which has applied for 501c(3) status.

The main purpose of the organization to put musical instruments in the hands of our kids.  We believe that every child has the right to participate in band or to learn to play an instrument.

Once we receive our non-profit status, we will be accepting all types of used musical instruments.  If they can be refurbished we will do so – then get them into the hands of kids who will love them.  And donors will receive a tax receipt.

We will also be accepting monetary donations to further the outreach of music in the Roaring Fork Valley.
